Joining Blackmere

New one to add to the list: I'm part of the cast of Blackmere, Charlie Brooker's new four-part series for Netflix, due early 2027.

It's a detective thriller — a northern police detective (played by Paddy Considine) heads to London chasing a serial killer while working through the death of his partner. However, it's also hilarious but darkly that way. Also in the cast: Georgina Campbell, Lena Headey, and Rory Kinnear.

Directed by Al Campbell, who I worked with on Bad Education moons ago - a great director. Casting by Sarah Crowe. No word yet on who I'm actually playing (and I can't tell you because NDA's) — I'll update this once that's public.

I love that it's called Blackmere - I knew it as Project Codename when we were filming...

Filmed across London and Manchester last autumn. More when there's more.

More on Blackmere via Netflix's Tudum, Variety, and MovieWeb.
